The Chronicle publishes two e-mail newsletters - Philanthropy Today and Philanthropy This Week. All recipients of The Chronicle's e-mail newsletters have requested to receive the newsletter, so you can be assured that your ad will be seen by active, interested readers. Philanthropy Today
Delivered free to readers each weekday afternoon, Philanthropy Today condenses the day's latest developments in the nonprofit world into a quick, easy-to-read news briefing. Nearly 32,000 people receive Philanthropy Today, everyday.
There are two ad positions available in Philanthropy Today. The 250 x 250 square banner is embedded within the newsletter text and the 120 x 600 skyscraper banner runs along the right side of the e-mail.
Exclusive sponsorship of Philanthropy Today is available for an additional fee.
Philanthropy This Week
More than 10,000 subscribers receive The Chronicle's weekly e-mail update. The e-mail features text from one advertiser per week and provides summaries of the week's top news stories, with links to more extensive coverage on The Chronicle's Web site. Subscribers receive special bulletins of breaking news in the nonprofit world. The weekly e-mail is available in plain text only. The Chronicle does not publish an HTML version of the weekly e-mail.
Third-Party Ad Trafficking
E-mail newsletter ads may be trafficked through third-party ad servers. The Chronicle is a DoubleClick DART site. Click commands for text-only e-mails must be 62 characters or less.
Reporting
Advertisers who choose not to traffic ads through a third-party service may submit unique tracking URL’s for their ads. The Chronicle does not provide tracking for ads in the e-mail newsletters.
