Job Openings at The ChronicleAccount Coordinator, Recruitment Advertising Department The Chronicle of Philanthropy is looking to hire a motivated, experienced account coordinator to contribute to the growth of our successful recruitment enterprise. The purpose of this position is to serve as a key inside sales person and client service representative for The Chronicle of Philanthropy's Recruitment Advertising Department. This position reports to The Chronicle of Philanthropy's National Account Manager, Recruitment Advertising. The primary focus of this role is to increase recruitment advertising revenue by successfully selling The Chronicle of Philanthropy's print and online recruitment solutions to existing and new nonprofit clients. Desired background includes a solid understanding of recruitment advertising, superior customer service, verbal and written communication skills, along with an articulate and professional presentation telephone style are necessary to succeed in this position. Attention to detail and the ability to follow through on the entire sales cycle are crucial. A college degree is required and a minimum of one to two years' consultative sales or customer service, ideally in recruitment advertising, is highly desired. A keen eye for detail, good sense of humor and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues is essential. The Chronicle of Philanthropy is the No. 1 resource for the nonprofit world.
