$20-Million to Emory U. for Lung Center; Other Gifts
Emory University, in Atlanta, will receive $20-million over five years from Andrew J. McKelvey, founder of a job-recruitment company, to create a lung-transplant center.
The gift will endow a professorship in lung-transplant medicine, establish a research fund to support five or more new faculty members in basic and clinical sciences related to lung disease, and finance a visiting professorship.
Mr. McKelvey founded TMP Worldwide, in New York, which runs Monster.com, a Web site
