8 Rules to Help Nonprofit Leaders Navigate a New World
For years, I’ve lived in Chicago and put the Rules for Radicals, developed by the great community organizer Saul Alinsky to the test, just like so many of my colleagues running the nation’s nonprofits. But I’ve come to the conclusion that the Great Recession, and the changes in the political environment accompanying it, require a new set of rules. To be sure, some of Mr. Alinsky’s rules still apply:
