It would be interesting to see advice for how to start a successful nonprofit balanced by discussion of how to close an unsuccessful nonprofit. Failure of unsuccessful organizations is often a taboo topic in the nonprofit sector and among philanthropic organization, but it is essential if we want the nonprofit sector to reach its full potential. In the for-profit world, multiple companies go out of business all the time. There has been growing acceptance of the many similarities between nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and the possibility of failure should be one of them.
