Giving kiosks offer convenience to donors, but critics question their effectivenessOn her way to church most Sundays, Meagan Cummins used to have to make a detour to an automated teller machine to withdraw money for her weekly donation. But sometimes she would be running too late or forget to stop at the bank altogether. On those mornings she would go to church with nothing to put in the collection plate.
