Upon inheriting significant wealth from his father as a young adult, Farhad A. Ebrahimi wasn't sure what to do with his new fortune.
Mr. Ebrahimi knew it was more money than he would ever need, and after a period of soul-searching, he decided to establish the Chorus Foundation, which supports efforts to help consumers make choices with an eye toward reducing their environmental footprint.
This discussion is part of a series of discussions with the nation's most interesting philanthropists, which The Chronicle is holding with Bolder Giving, an organization that works to encourage philanthropists to give more generously.
Join us on Wednesday, September 29, at noon U.S. Eastern time when Mr. Ebrahimi will answer questions about how he developed his philanthropy and established the environmental foundation. Also joining the discussion will be Jason Franklin, a philanthropist and the executive director of Bolder Giving.
