CARE Turns to Interactive Technology to Link Donors to Charity's Programs
By NICOLE WALLACEWhen 10 Atlanta high-school students traveled to Guatemala last month to visit CARE USA projects, the charity offered a way for other people to tag along through a "virtual field trip" on its Web site. Computer users could see digital photographs from the trip, read daily journal entries, and participate in a series of online chats with the real-life travelers while they were still abroad.
