'Fortune': Growth of Teach for America
Teach for America has become one of the largest job destinations for graduating college students, hiring more college seniors than Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, or General Electric, says an article in Fortune magazine (November 27).
Driven by the dedication of the nonprofit group's founder, Wendy Kopp, Teach for America has become so successful at luring students from Ivy League and other top universities that a number of major companies — including Amgen, J.P.
