Foundation Site Promotes Disclosure
The Foundation Center has started a new Web
site—Glasspockets.org—to highlight efforts by grant makers to let
the public know about their activities.
The site lists the technology tools that 64 of the 100 largest U.S.
foundations use to inform the public about their work and includes
links to the grant makers’ Twitter feeds, Facebook pages, online
grants databases, and other sources of information.
The name of the site was inspired by Russell
