Foundations Triple Support for Grants in Health-Care Policy, New Report Says
Public debate about the U.S. health-care system spurred foundations to triple their support for grants dealing with health-care policy during the first half of the 1990s, a new report says.
Foundations awarded $99.8-million in grants for health-care policy in 1995 compared with $30.9-million in 1990, according to the report, Health Policy Grantmaking, published by the Foundation Center.
