Key Senator Blasts Hospitals' Payment Policies
Sen. Charles E. Grassley, the senior Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, has criticized nonprofit hospitals that have an "upfront-collection policy" or demand cash payments from people with inadequate or no insurance before treating them.
