American Civil Liberties Union (New York): Appointed Caroline Frederickson, general counsel and legal director at NARAL Pro-Choice America (Washington), to be director of the Washington legislative office.
Arc of the United States (Silver Spring, Md.): Appointed Sue Swenson, assistant executive director for membership and program services, to be executive director, effective September 20. She will succeed Steven M. Eidelman, who is resigning.
