American Diabetes Association (Alexandria, Va.): Appointed Lynn B. Nicholas, president and chief executive officer of the Louisiana Hospital Association (Baton Rouge), to be chief executive officer, effective July 1. She will succeed Caroline A. Stevens, who has served as interim chief executive officer since August 2003, when John H. Graham IV left to become president and chief executive officer of the American Society of Association Executives
