Physician's $41-Million Gift to Museum Includes Butterflies
How much: Approximately $41-million
Who gave it: William W. McGuire, a physician and former chief executive of the health insurer UnitedHealth Group, and his wife, Nadine.
Who got it: Florida Museum of Natural History, in Gainesville. The museum is affiliated with the University of Florida.
Purpose: The donation includes a cash gift as well as a collection of more than two million butterfly and moth
