Business School Receives $85-Million From Alumni Donors

A group of alumni has given $85-million to the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin at Madison to preserve its name for at least 20 years, reports Bloomberg.com.

The gift is unusual because it was given specifically for the purpose of keeping the school’s name, not changing it, as so often happens after sizable gifts are made.

Thirteen alumni gave at least $5-million each, the university said.
