Georgetown University has anonymously received a $20-million donation to support a major environmental-studies push, writes The Washington Post. The money, which the school said comes from a “longtime member of the Georgetown community” who is “fastidiously private” about giving, will be used primarily to endow three faculty chairs but will also fund research grant proposals and creation of a center to develop green initiatives.
