Al Gore to Donate His Half of Nobel Prize Money to Charity

Al Gore plans to donate the money he receives for the Nobel Peace Prize to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a nonprofit organization that he chairs, reports The New York Times.

The former vice president and United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today for their work to call attention to the threat of global warming worldwide.
