Steve Vance, an American aid worker, was killed in Peshawar, Pakistan, yesterday, according to The New York Times.

Mr. Vance was working for the Cooperative Housing Foundation, an organization that received USAID funds to counter the Taliban by creating jobs and building infrastructure in the tribal areas in Peshawar, reports the newspaper.
