An anonymous bidder offered $1.68-million to the Glide Foundation, in San Francisco, to win the annual charity auction for lunch with the billionaire investor and philanthropist Warren Buffett, Bloomberg reports.

Last year’s top bidder, Hong Kong hedge-fund manager Zhao Danyang, had his $2.1-million meal with Buffett in New York on Wednesday.
