An article in the San Francisco Chronicle summarized in Philanthropy Today on Wednesday inaccurately stated the campaign goal of the University of California at Berkeley. The campaign, to be announced Friday, seeks to raise a total of $3-billion by the time it concludes in five years. During the past three years, the university has raised more than $1-billion toward that goal as part of the campaign’s “quiet phase.”
