Bernard Gersten, the executive producer of Lincoln Center Theater for 28 years, will exit the post next June, says The New York Times.
In an announcement Monday, Lincoln Center said the 89-year-old Mr. Gersten will not be replaced and the theater will led by artistic director Andre Bishop.
Mr. Gersten has overseen nearly 150 productions at the venue’s three stages since Lincoln Center Theater was established in 1985. He previously spent more than two decades helping run New York’s Public Theater.
