New Grants: 83 New Commitments Just Posted

The Chronicle has just posted nearly $110-million in new grants, listings that are exclusively available to subscribers to the newspaper and to its Guide to Grants.

Among the highlights of the grants just posted:

  • The Omidyar Network has awarded $9-million to the Rural Development Institute to help poor people around the world secure land rights.
  • The UPS Foundation has awarded $200,000 to the World Resources Institute to promote public reporting of companies’ greenhouse-gas emissions and to strengthen the environmental performance of the supply chain industry in China.
