Billionaires might come to the rescue of new and trendy art museums that are struggling during the current economic recession, but well-established museums are being forced to change the way they present their artwork in order to get people in the door, says an article in The New York Times.
Some of the museums with a long history have tried to make themselves more people friendly, either by shifting the emphasis of their collections or putting on shows that appeal to younger audiences.
