Citgo, the Venezuelan government’s oil subsidiary in the United States, yesterday said that it will continue donating heating oil to poor families in America, according to the Associated Press.

Citizens Energy leader, former U.S. Rep. Joseph Kennedy, said Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez played a direct role in Citgo’s decision to revive the program.
