November 11, 2009, 2:34 pm

A Kentucky judge has ordered a former bookkeeper at a Lexington youth charity to repay more than $400,000 she is accused of stealing by forging organization officials’ signatures on checks, reports the Associated Press.

Bendrea Wilson will also be required to pay 12 percent interest on the money under the settlement of a civil suit that Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass filed last week after the alleged theft was uncovered. A criminal probe is ongoing. Ms. Wilson did not comment in the article.
