The Saratoga County (N.Y.) Chamber of Commerce utilizes unpaid interns frequently. They are easy to find. We prepare a job description including expectations (car required, no pay, responsibilities, etc.) and mail it to Career Services at our local colleges. These offices either oversee intern programs or will refer our job description to the appropriate person. Our best interns are those who are working for college credit. They are more motivated to excel.

And while I'm at it . . . I've got a 21-year-old daughter who is looking for an unpaid internship in the Boston area.  She will be entering her senior year in college in the fall.  Suggestions?
