I have a M.Ed. in education and have been involved in grant writing and funding for some time.  I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in nonprofit management to make my resume more appealing and to learn more, since my work has been with children and families and largely social service associated.  I would like to work in development since my writing skills are strong also.  Having difficulty getting interviews.  ANy suggestions or advice?>

you may find some helpful information at www.nonprofitcareeradvisor.com or www.juicy-jobs.com.   have you considered looking for volunteer or "internship" opportunities to further develop your fundraising experience?

You should also explore our Philanthropy Careers site for job listings and plenty of advice to help you navigate the nonprofit job market.

I would especially direct you to look at previous editions of our advice column, Hotline. Also, our Career Switchers' Primer gathers up several articles that should be useful to you.
