FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK OF CINCINNATI
$15,000,000 over two years to provide housing assistance in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee

VISION SERVICE PLAN
$15,000,000 in cash and services, including vouchers for free eye exams, and financial assistance to doctors living or working in areas affected by the hurricane

BELLSOUTH FOUNDATION
$5,000,000 to support online academic courses for students displaced by the hurricane

FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK OF DALLAS
$5,000,000 for a fund to provide housing and other assistance to communities in Louisiana and Mississippi

MCDONALD'S CORPORATION
$5,000,000 in cash to relief efforts, as well as products and supplies

STARBUCKS
$5,000,000 over five years, with an initial $1,000,000 going to the American Red Cross (Washington)

THRIVENT FINANCIAL FOR LUTHERANS
$5,000,000 to Habitat for Humanity International (Americus, Ga.) to help rebuild homes in the Gulf Coast region

$1,050,000, including $500,000 to the American Red Cross-Greater Richmond Chapter (Va.), $500,000 to various relief organizations, and $50,000 to match gifts made by employees in Richmond

$1,000,000 to the American Red Cross, with $800,000 going to the national headquarters and $200,000 to the organization's West Central Georgia chapter, in Columbus

$1,000,000 to the American Red Cross; the company has also provided medicines to relief efforts

CAPITAL ONE FINANCIAL CORPORATION
$1,000,000 to the American Red Cross

ERNST & YOUNG
$1,000,000 to match gifts made by employees

FANNIE MAE CORPORATION and the FANNIE MAE FOUNDATION
$1,000,000, half of which will go to the American Red Cross and half to longer-term rebuilding efforts supported by housing organizations

FORD MOTOR COMPANY
$1,000,000 to be divided between America's Second Harvest (Chicago), the American Red Cross, and the Salvation Army (Alexandria, Va.); the company has also donated 150 used vehicles, valued at $2,000,000, to the states of Louisiana and Mississippi

$1,000,000, as well as 1,500 laptop computers and other services for distribution to shelters, to the American Red Cross

$1,000,000, half of which will go to the American Red Cross and half to AmeriCares (Stamford, Conn.)

$1,000,000 to the American Red Cross and has pledged up to $500,000 to match employee contributions

$1,000,000 to the American Red Cross, including $500,000 for immediate relief and up to $500,000 to match employee contributions; the company also plans to send 15 truckloads of bottled water each week through the month of September to support recovery efforts

$1,000,000, of which $750,000 will go to the American Red Cross and $250,000 to three United Way chapters in Louisiana

$1,000,000 to the American Red Cross, the Children's Health Fund (New York), and other relief groups; the company will also provide free 30-day replacements of Wyeth products through authorized pharmacies and will aid patients who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina

ANDREW W. MELLON FOUNDATION
$10,000,000 to educational and cultural institutions affected by the hurricane. Its initial $5,500,000 in grants include $2,800,000 to the Southern Education Foundation (Atlanta), $1,200,000 to Xavier U. of Louisiana (New Orleans), $800,000 to Dillard U. (New Orleans), $500,000 to Associated Colleges of the South(Atlanta), and $200,000 to the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (New Orleans)

CONRAD N. HILTON FOUNDATION
$6,000,000, of which $2,500,000 will go to the Salvation Army, $1,500,000 to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation (La.), $1,000,000 to the American Red Cross, and $1,000,000 to the Foundation for the Mid South (Jackson, Miss.)

ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION
$3,000,000 to be divided among the Greater New Orleans Foundation, the Enterprise Foundation (Columbia, Md.), Habitat for Humanity International, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (New York), and the Urban League of Greater New Orleans

$2,000,000 to assist Hurricane Katrina victims who have relocated to North Carolina

$1,000,000 to the Healing Hands Coalition (Houston), which is helping to feed and provide shelter to people at the Houston Astrodome

$1,000,000 to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation
