The Chronicle of Philanthropy: Guide to Continuing Education
Announcing a unique course in marketing communications created specifically for non-profit organizations.


The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan is offering a course specifically designed for non-profit business development executives, public affairs officers and other leaders of non-profit organizations. This course will cover current best practices in brand-building and positioning, the fundamentals of developing a marketing communications program and how to launch one and measure its success. Hands-on exercises will teach the development of a marketing communications plan and you will be taught the basics of how to do the creative as well.

Charlie Rosner (www.marketpaths.net) is the original author of the VISTA slogan: "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem," and is the creator of the MTA's slogan "Train to The Plane." His public sector clients have included The World Bank, The American Red Cross, The United Nations Association, The Peace Corps, The New York Philharmonic and The Office of Communications at Buckingham Palace.
