The University of Chicago Booth School of Business

The Associate Director, Annual Fund & Reunions, at the Booth School of Business, rated number #1 in the 2008 Business Week survey of MBA programs. This position is based in downtown Chicago and will plan and implement a variety of programs dedicated to Annual Fund programming with special emphasis on reunion fundraising. This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting alumni reunion prospects. The successful candidate will preferably bring experience with development in a higher education setting. This position will report to the Senior Associate Director, Annual Fund.

Knowledge, skills, experience requirements and preferences:
-Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
-Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in fields such as development (strong preference), nonprofit management, alumni relations, marketing, public relations or similar field required
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in one of the fields listed above in the higher education setting preferred
-Experience planning and managing programs, developing and monitoring budgets required
-Experience managing volunteers preferred
-Demonstrated skill, and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly the technology tools including Griffin, a Microsoft Windows computer environment, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint required
-Strong verbal and writing skills, high attention to detail and follow-up, and excellent organizational skills required
-Willingness and ability to travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business required
-Valid driver's license required
-Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends required
