Heroic Media is seeking a full-time Major Gifts Officer
who:
·has a passion for life from conception through natural
death,
·is enthusiastic about and accomplished in major gifts
solicitation, and
·has a strong work ethic.
We seek a proven development professional who seeks out, cultivates
and enjoys donor relations. The job candidate should be a
self-starter who is very comfortable in engaging people of means.
This person must be confident calling on high net worth
individuals, and have demonstrated success in implementing
strategies and tactics for involving volunteers. We seek an
exceptional communicator, in written and spoken word, with strong
interpersonal skills. Good facilitation and organizational ability
are critical in working effectively with others.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 5-7
years professional fundraising experience in a non-profit
environment. Solid understanding of fundraising philosophies,
Raiser's Edge and PIN/CASE management/reporting standards as well
as familiarity with Microsoft Office required.
The position may be regional or national depending on the skills
and location of the professional. Salary is commensurate with
experience.
