The Donor Events and Communications Manager coordinates and
implements all donor events, including the annual Dinner Party,
coordinates donor communications, and serves as liaison to the
Gardens and Landscapes Committee.
Previous Training and Experience: Fundraising professional with a
minimum of a Bachelor's degree and three years of development
experience. Demonstrated Special Event experience required. Strong
writing skills and proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet and
database management are essential. Knowledge of Blackbaud software
preferred.
Physical/Mental Requirements: Qualified candidates will have
excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to function
successfully in a professional team structure. Candidates should
also have the ability to build positive relationships with
volunteers, donors and staff. This position requires the ability to
be responsive and flexible in a dynamic and evolving organization.
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively to handle
multiple projects and deadlines. High degree of confidentiality
required. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
