Our CFRR team is currently seeking a Director of Medical Sciences.

The Director of Medical Sciences will work to establish new and
advance existing relationships between the medical sciences and
their more significant corporate and foundation partners. S/he will
serve as a vital coordinator and support resource to division
development officers as they pursue philanthropic and other forms
of support from corporations and foundations. The Director of
Medical Sciences will establish and maintain cooperative working
relationships with appropriate colleagues, faculty and staff in the
medical school, hospital system and Dean's office at the David
Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, the Office of Research
Administration and the Office of Intellectual Properties, among
others. S/he will regularly meet with faculty, deans and other
staff in priority areas and gain knowledge of research interests
and areas of expertise. The Director will represent the medical
sciences' needs and priorities by implementing campus-wide
development strategies for the University's most important
foundation and corporate partners. In addition, s/he will use
existing technologies and data to develop prospect lists,
identifying funders for priority projects and programs. S/he will
contribute to cross-disciplinary development efforts that are
priorities of the Office of the Chancellor as well as manage
portfolio of key corporations and foundations. For a more detailed
