our Office of Planned and Major Gifts. Our gift planning team is
expanding and we are currently seeking a Senior Director. This
planned giving officer will be responsible for increasing
individual gifts to programs campus-wide, as well as growing the

The Senior Director of Planned Giving will provide leadership,
oversight and strategic direction by establishing long-range goals
and objectives for the Planned Giving group. S/he will lead a team
who will qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward planned giving
donors ($100,000+). A successful candidate for this position will
have progressively significant, relevant, successful experience in
fundraising, plus an emphasis on personnel management and planned
and major gift experience. S/he will also have expert knowledge of
principles and practices of major gift fundraising and planned
giving in a major research university. The Senior Director will
also have proven, strong team-building skills, creating liaisons
with campus development colleagues, academic and administrative
leadership, and faculty to develop effective cultivation and
