The USC School of Theatre is seeking an Assistant Dean and Chief
Development Officer. Responsibilities include providing strategic
leadership in the planning, implementation and administration of a
multi-year comprehensive fundraising initiative for the School. The
position will be a hands-on major gift officer who will be
responsible for his/her own portfolio of prospects, will identify
major prospects and develop strategic plans for cultivating their
participation. The successful candidate will have exceptional
interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with
academic leaders, faculty, staff, donors, and a variety of
volunteers and must have strong communication skills, both written
and verbal, must be a good listener, have an affinity for the arts
and enjoy a creative and fast-paced environment.
