Director of Grants
Arc of Westchester, the largest organization in Westchester
County New York providing lifetime services to people with autism
and other developmental disabilities, seeks a Director of
Grants.
Responsibilities:
* With program staff, develops proposals to fund programs including
children's school, career and employment services, recreation
programs, and guardianship.
* Researches and cultivates new sources of corporate and foundation
grants.
* Works with staff to leverage contacts to corporations and
foundations.
* Writes funding proposals and progress reports for both annual and
capital campaigns.
* Maintains calendar of grant proposals and reports.
Qualifications:
* At least five years as a senior development professional.
* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
This is a new position, working with skilled and dedicated Foundation, marketing, program staff and board of directors.
