Director of the Pacesetters Committee: The Director of the Pacesetters Committee is a contract position reporting to the President/Chief Executive Officer responsible for planning, directing and managing the Pacesetter Committee functions. Responsibilities include identification, cultivation and solicitation of major gifts from individual and private foundations primarily in the Pacific Northwest but throughout the U.S.The Director will have substantial experience working with high net worth individuals. He or she will possess exceptional strategic ability on the institutional, departmental and prospect level. The Director will play a direct, personal role in securing gifts. Accomplishing this critically important task will require a person with exceptional creativity, energy, experience, and personal integrity, along with the ability to advocate forcefully on behalf of First Alaskans Institute.
