Partnership Manager: Water.org. Location: Washington, D.C. An established international NGO based in the Midwest is seeking an experienced professional to develop relationships with governmental, institutional, and other private donors in Washington, D.C. and the Northeast region of the U.S. Position is full-time and requires up to 30% travel, including international trips. The qualified individual will understand the structure and mission of governmental donors, meet regularly with those organizations' representatives, and develop effective relationships that will lead to increased income and program partnerships. Some meetings will also be held with other institutional donors to seek out funding partnerships. Staff person will meet regularly with headquarters and program staff in foreign offices to provide advice on appropriate partnerships that will benefit the organization. At least 5-10 years' experience and a degree in international studies, nonprofit management, or in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
