Chair, Institutional Relations and Development

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation seeks a seasoned, dynamic and collaborative fundraising professional to lead the philanthropic efforts of one of the world's most renowned medical institutions. Having a history of successful campaigns and fundraising initiatives, Cleveland Clinic is well positioned to capitalize on this success and take on bigger and bolder challenges.

At Cleveland Clinic, visionary philanthropy has a direct effect on improving patient care, research and medical education efforts. It is also changing Cleveland Clinic's campus, including the additional of the new Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Pavilion and the Glickman Tower, and facilities in Nevada, Florida, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.

Reporting to the CEO and President, the Chair, Institutional Relations and Development will be the architect of a comprehensive development program that encompasses the full range of funding opportunities at Cleveland Clinic's academic medical center and its national and international locations, and clearly lays out the strategies, resources and key partnerships necessary to pursue them.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of successful and effective experience in senior development leadership positions preferably in an academic or health related setting.
