Development Manager, Corporate Partnerships
The Old Globe, a professional theatre in San Diego producing 15 productions per year including Broadway-bound works and summer Shakespeare Festival, seeks an experienced marketing and/or development professional. Duties include: research, solicitation, stewardship of corporate accounts, generating sponsorships, underwriting, annual gifts, in-kind support; strategizing for capital gifts; creating, implementing co-promotions; local networking; as well as planning, fundraising and marketing for special donor events. Candidate will work in a department of ten with a total annual contributed goal of $7 million. Successful candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will also be adept in interpersonal relations with high-profile donors, Board Members, volunteers and internal fundraising and executive staff. Four-year degree, plus two to four years related experience, excellent written and verbal communication and strong inter-personal skills required. Reports to Director of Development.
