Established non-profit agency has an immediate FT position for a Director, Grants & New Fund Development for a well-organized, motivated individual to join the expanding Development team. The candidate will identify new opportunities for funding and sponsorships within JSSA's current grantor base. The candidate will identify grants, contracts and provide management, writing and leadership in the proposal process. Additionally, the candidate will manage a personal portfolio of grantors, foundations and government prospects, maintain a database of opportunities & serve as project manager for each opportunity.
Candidate will have knowledge of governmental & foundation grant selection procedures, excellent written, oral, communication & analytic skills.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Five or more years of business development or fundraising experience and a proven track record in securing grants. Experience w/ Raiser's Edge a plus & skilled in Windows based programs. Excellent Benefits.
