Position: Vice President for Advancement
Organization: Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Advancement/Vice President: Vice President for Advancement. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum seeks an experienced professional to oversee all aspects of fund-raising and constituency relations, including management of staff and volunteers in development, membership, and communications. The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment, especially in areas of major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation grants and sponsorships, and capital/endowment campaigns. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills are essential, along with an eagerness to work creatively and collaboratively. Strong organizational skills, budget management and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Raisers Edge are required. This position will be expected to participate in Museum-sponsored events and to represent the Museum at social, professional and governmental functions and possess professional ethics. Salary is commensurate with experience plus excellent benefits. This is a full-time, regular, exempt position.
