Children's Hospital Boston is a comprehensive center for pediatric health care, the primary pediatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, and home to the world's largest pediatric research enterprise. For the twentieth year in a row, Children's Hospital Boston has ranked among the top pediatric hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report and has recently been selected as one of the 100 Top Places to Work by The Boston Globe. The Children's Hospital Trust promotes philanthropic investment for the benefit of the Hospital, employing 100 staff members and raising approximately $100 million annually. Fundraising staff work directly with caregivers and scientists of the highest caliber, grateful families, and many of the area's most dynamic philanthropic leaders. To prepare for its next major milestones, Children's is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Director of Annual Leadership Gifts
In this new position, the Director will conduct personal visits and other meaningful interactions to identify and qualify new individual prospects; cultivate, solicit and close gifts between $10,000 - $50,000; and steward annual leadership donors. Further, the Director will design a synergistic program with Major Gifts that builds on and integrates with a well-established program of philanthropy.

Senior Major Gifts Officer
The SMGO will manage a portfolio of 125 to 150 prospects, setting strategy and building relationships with individuals at the $50,000 - $250,000 range. This position will serve as liaison to one or more clinical/research areas and should demonstrate an ability to establish strong working relationships with key leaders and physicians.

Senior Planned Gifts Officer
The SPGO is responsible for the development and implementation of planned giving activities and projects and to assist in the major growth of the planned giving program. Working as part of a team s/he will develop their own portfolio, cultivating and closing gifts. The SPGO will also work closely with members of the major gift team, helping them to identify and develop planned giving options with other prospects.
