Position: Direct Marketing Manager, Regular Giving
Organization: International Fund for Animal Welfare
Location: Massachusetts

Purpose
Participate in the Worldwide Regular Giving marketing Team, which generates a high percentage of IFAW's net income. This position is directly responsible for three critical worldwide marketing streams: telemarketing campaigns, direct response television programs and digital marketing aimed at generating Regular Givers in the most efficient manner.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
·Meet and/or exceed, budgeted net income, number of new sustainers acquired and retention rate goals by successfully managing over 85 direct marketing campaigns and two weekly mail programs.
·Recommend to the RG Director annual fiscal budget for Telemarketing efforts, DRTV Strategy, Digital marketing strategy and additional marketing vehicle tests.
·Initiate and implement budgeted annual strategies; direct out of house telemarketers and Agencies to keep on schedule all telemarketing, television and digital campaigns. Responsible for developing and maintaining all systems and procedures required for successful campaign management, in a cost effective manner. Present final results analysis to RG Director, including costs, of all marketing campaigns.
·Analyze on-going promotional results analysis and provide feedback to RG Director on trends and opportunities. Recommend strategy changes needed to meet or exceed budget.
·Collaborate with RG Director on Analytic strategy and the integrated marketing approach for the Sustainer Program.
·Based on independent analysis of past response and working with IFAW analyst, create and distribute campaign launch memos, campaign projections, list segmentation recommendations, copy and art (as applicable).
·Collaborate and liaise with World Wide SR Management team to ensure that critical company feedback is generated during marketing mailing preparation. Additionally, develop campaign briefs and liaise with worldwide IFAW offices involved in implementing IFAW's Regular Giving programs in all eight fundraising countries.
·Work very closely with IFAW's Data Processing department to ensure that marketing data generated is accurate and output to vendors correctly and then uploaded from response handlers and banks appropriately.
·Independently prepare and present all technical coding requests to Business Practices in an accurate and organized fashion ensuring that each campaign is set up correctly on the database, allowing results to be tracked and analyzed accurately.
·Assist in any other special projects as requested by Direct Marketing Management.

Job Requirements
·Minimum 5 years in-depth direct marketing experience. Fundraising and International experience preferred but not required.
·BS degree, preferably in marketing, business or a related field is preferred.

·Strong knowledge of direct marketing principles including creative, list management, targeting and segmentation, analysis, production, and fulfillment.
·Must be highly organized and self motivated to meet critical deadlines. Must be able to work under pressure, while coordinating several projects simultaneously.
·Excellent written and presentation skills; effective interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate complex campaign processing requirements to vendors whose first language may not be English.
·Proficient in Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint.
·Knowledge of Team Approach Software a plus.
