Position: Web Content Manager (Sr. Web Media Specialist)

Cedars-Sinai, one of the country's leading medical centers, is seeking a seasoned Web Content Manager. As Sr. Web Media Specialist, a new role for us, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategies, design, and content for the web sites that support and expand our fundraising campaigns and other development efforts. Keeping abreast of best practices and industry trends, you will identify new opportunities for Cedars-Sinai to become a leader in on-line development communications by initiating and managing continuous on-line innovation for increasingly complex web sites. By collaborating with colleagues in the department and medical center you will create and implement web strategies that will increase awareness of, and participation in, our fundraising efforts. This will include implementation of new media strategies for user experiences, interactive communications, and digital content.

You will supervise a web content coordinator and report directly to our Development Communications Director.

In addition to your energy and vision,, we require the following:

· Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
· Minimum five (5) years experience senior-level web site management.
· Fundraising experience strongly preferred.
· Broad understanding of web-based trends and technologies, including demonstrated experience with e-mail marketing and online giving platforms.
· Firsthand knowledge of contemporary web tools, including XHTML, CSS, Flash and web browser optimization.
· Experience with content management systems.
· Familiarity with web design software applications, such as Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
· Skill in exchanging ideas, information and opinions with individuals and groups in a variety of forums.
· Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; web writing background a plus.
