Position: Development Operations and Database Coordinator
Organization: The Foundation for the National Archives
Location: D.C.

The Foundation for the National Archives is seeking a full-time Development Operations and Database Coordinator. The Development Operations and Database Coordinator plays an important role in organization, ensuring positive relationships with Board members, donors, and other constituents in a variety of interactions. This position will be responsible for accurate and efficient record keeping of the donor and prospect base using Raiser's Edge and paper files. He/She will be responsible for ensuring timely processing of all donations, fulfilling donor benefits, and coordinating regular donor mailings regarding acquisition, renewals and pledges. He/she will participate with the development team in coordinating effective strategies and benefits for achieving budgeted fundraising goals for the annual giving programs, the National Archives Experience campaign, and other long-term initiatives as needed. He or she will support the Foundation's development programs by supporting the Development department, assisting team members as needed, providing courteous and effective customer service to the board and donors via phone, email, and on-site. He or she will be a key member of the Development team, working to develop and implement creative strategies for meeting organizational goals.

Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years experience in fundraising, donor relations, and/or database coordination required. Computer proficiency required (Raiser's Edge 7 knowledge required). The candidate must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evening and weekend events when required. Salary in the low 30's plus full benefits package.
