Community Health Network Foundation

The Community Health Network, a fi ve-hospital integrated health system in Central Indiana, is seeking a President and CEO for the Community Health Network Foundation. The Foundation President and CEO will provide the executive leadership and vision for Community’s philanthropy initiatives, programs, and eff orts. Success in annual and capital fundraising, major planned gift giving, corporate and foundation grant development, and donor relations will be expected. The position reports to the Foundation Board of Directors and to the Network CEO.

Successful candidates will have an advanced degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; at least ten years of experience in fundraising management, preferably in healthcare; experience as the top foundation executive, or the #2 executive in a large foundation; and a proven track record in:

• Developing successful philanthropic programs

• Working eff ectively with not-for-profi t boards

• Providing leadership within a complex organization

• Successfully accomplishing “major asks”

• Quickly developing positive, lasting relationships with all constituencies

• Quickly assimilating into the culture of a community and of an organization
