Position: Development Officer

Whitman College seeks to hire a Seattle based Development Officer for major gifts fundraising in western Washington. As part of a team, will identify, cultivate, and solicit major prospective donors for gifts in support of Whitman College program priorities. Will have assigned responsibility for oversight and coordination of a WA portfolio and will be expected to work closely with staff and administrators. Requires monthly travel and participation in events. Requires Bachelor's degree, preferably from a liberal arts college, and three years of progressively responsible experience in institutional development. Open until filled.
