Duties: The Director of Development is the chief fundraising executive for USF Polytechnic and receives policy direction from the central Development Office and supervision the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer.

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience related to community relations or development. Four years of advancement or community development experience may substitute on a year for year basis for the required college education.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree with a minimum of five years of significant development experience, preferably in higher education, including a minimum of three years management experience.

Working knowledge of foundation and corporate fundraising.

Demonstrated successful track record in the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gifts ($50,000 and above).

Familiarity with prospect management systems.

Degree from or experience working at a polytechnic or similar type of institution.
